Festival Fashion Forever
Woodstock, Isle of Wight, Coachella, or Osheaga, summer music festival style is nearly as iconic as the music itself. This weekend marks the start of my city's major music event, SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival and you can already feel the buzz in town. "Did you pick up any tickets yet? Who do you want to see? Have you hard of Kamasi Washington because apparently, that'll be an amazing show." Every conversation includes JazzFest and no one's more excited than me! Flaming Lips? Yes, please. But what I'm also looking forward to is seeing what YOU ARE WEARING. My girlfriend and OCM blogger, Karyn Kimberley and I will be scoping style at the Ben Harper/Charlie Musselwhite show next Friday the 29th with cameras in tow, so don your faves because we're putting together a best-dressed list and it's your chance to be featured right here on Sneakers & Lipstick!

We love fun, summery, creative looks that are easy to hang out on the grass or dance in. Events like SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival give you an excuse to dig out your favourite bohemian, vintage, or flirty pieces that may not see a ton of wear otherwise. It's also the perfect excuse for a flower crown, fringes, braids, wedges... all that cute stuff. Show up, because we wanna show you off!
Even Paris is into festival style with his locally made romper by Rain Melody and amber beads. Love that guy! He'll be joining my family for the Lips show and some free stage fun, but the Ben Harper/Charlie Musselwhite show is alllll minnnne with Karyn. And YOU.
