Saskatoon restaurants with private dining rooms
Looking for a private dining room in Saskatoon to book for a birthday, staff party, or other group occasion? I’ve been you! And wow, info is hard to find beyond crowd-sourcing on Facebook! So, I’ve made a list and put it all in one place for us all to use as a resource (it’s a thing I do here). If you find it helpful, please let me know & if you’ve got something to add, let me know that, too. Please note that this list is updated with reader/business input & so although I do edit when I have new info, I cannot guarantee rental rate and other accuracy.

Agar’s Corner Just out of town, you’ll find Agar’s Corner, a private dining country house which offers bookings to groups between 12-30. They also have a larger venue on property for weddings and other large catered celebrations.
Amigo’s The back room of Amigo’s offers delicious food in a space that’s kid-friendly until 8pm, and there’s lots of space with tables that can be moved around however you’d like. There isn’t a charge to reserve the room if you’re ordering food and drinks. A group of 20 may reserve half the room (there’s a partition available) or a group between 35-65 can have the full room.
Aroma at Delta Downtown Aroma’s private dining room holds about 20-30 people.
Best Asia Buffet Groups of 15-50 can reserve Best Asia’s private dining room at additional charge to their meals.
Better Brothers Brewing This taproom is available to rent out. I’ve attended a beer and appie event at Better Brothers and it was a blast. Yes, it had to be a B word.
Birmingham’s Two private rooms are available to book on a "first come, first served" basis. Each room will comfortably seat 50 people, one is on the main floor of the restaurant and the other is on the second floor. Each room has its own audio/video system which patrons can use to play videos and music, the rooms also have their own climate control system. There isn’t an additional charge for the rooms but a $200 deposit is required, returned to the guest provided that they have 80% of their group on site within half an hour of the agreed upon time.
Blue Diamond Their banquet room accommodates 100 people but if your group is 50, there is a sliding door to cut the room in half. There’s no extra charge on top of your meals.
Blue Rhino There is no fee to reserve the Blue Rhino private room. There are three tables that comfortably seat about 16 people but they've had groups of 25 in there... it all depends on the type of function you'd like (there's a bar top usually used to lay out a buffet or to line up raffle gifts but some groups also use it for seating). The room is bright and well lit, it has 1 dart board, a privately controlled bluetooth speaker, a smart tv and a projector with screen. Blue Rhino has hosted everything from Christmas parties, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, community association meetings, hockey drafts and even a paint night... the space can be used for anything! The room is located on the restaurant side so minors are allowed after 8pm.
The Cave The Starlight Dining Room offers a private space for groups.
Carver’s Book your private dining experience with Carver’s and enjoy the beautiful Hampton room which holds about 20-25 people. There is an extra charge for this room.
Chop Steakhouse and Bar A banquet room is available.
Coachman Their private dining room fits around 60 people comfortably and there’s no charge for hosting your group event there if you’re ordering. There’s just a $100 deposit required. You can also rent the space for meetings with no service, or just beverages served.
Cohen’s has a space for 12 guests, private restaurant rental quotes available.

Cut Casual Steak and Tap Located off of the dining room, Cut’s 8-16 person private room offers flexibility to suit all of your private dinner needs. This could include power point presentations, board meetings or special events. The room is detailed with a fireplace, TV/monitor, wine wall and bay windows overlooking downtown.
Gibson’s Fish & Chips Gibson’s used to have a lounge and now that part of the resto is used for overflow on busy nights… but you can also book it for your group events! There is no additional cost and it can accommodate up to 40 people.
Home Quarter Upstairs, the Hayloft area is a great space for 15 people. Rent it for $50/2 hours for your next paint night or meeting (no outside food or bevvies)… but the charge is waived if you are spending from the menu.
Hudson’s The back room is available to book for your next group function. Accommodating around 100 people (and starting around 15 people), there’s no fee to book beyond your food and drink.
Hunger Cure Book the private Atrium area featuring skylights far above for your next function. Accommodating up to 70 people, there is no additional cost on top of the food and drink orders.

Four Seasons at the Park Town The South Dining Room is an option with a view for your next group event.
Flanagan’s Steakhouse has private rooms available for events.
The Granary If you have an event with 40 people, the Granary has a room that will be all yours, no booking fee. Much less than capacity and it is a shared room.
Hotels. Okay, this isn’t technically a restaurant but hotel kitchens do very yummy things and there are rooms to suit any size of group… so here it is on the list!
Las Palapas The full lounge can be rented out, or they have the Beach Dining Room for groups or just regular dining! The Room seats 50 people comfortably and there is no charge to book it as long as everyone is ordering entrées. It is the perfect Tropical getaway without having to pack! They offer their regular menu and many Sangria & Margarita flavours including the immensely popular Margarita Towers!! The background music is always playing Latin tunes to complete the getaway vibe. The servers are dressed in tropical wear and are always happy to answer any questions about the authentic Mexican menu!
Living Sky While there isn't an option to rent during business hours (9:30am - 3:30pm), Living Sky Café rents out in the evenings for private events. The entire space can hold around 75 people, split between the dining room (45) and a smaller side room (30). Inquiries for renting the space can be sent through the website.
Mano’s The Mano’s private dining room can accommodate up to 48, or they can pull an accordion wall and split it into 2x24. They take a $100 deposit for groups 12-24 and $200 deposit for groups 24-48-. policies and info can be found by clicking this link.
Mai’s Kitchen This Stonebridge restaurant has a private upstairs floor for up to 40 people!
Mr. Mikes Their private dining room accommodates 12 very comfortably but can fit up to 20. Because it’s in the lounge, no minors are allowed.
Mr. Ribs Family Restaurant An elevated area that fits 30-45 people is available to book with an optional screen for privacy. So long as your group is over 10 people, there’s no additional charge for the space.
Odla Not only does Odla have a private dining room that holds about 18 people but they also have a beautiful on-farm option with catered meals, pictured above.
Old Maple Restaurant & Lounge Book your group of 20-35 people in their loft space with couches, a private bar, and a projector. There’s no extra charge to your restaurant bill. Groups that pre-order their food receive 10% off their order.
Picaro has a private dining space that can accommodate 12 guests, private restaurant rental quotes available.
Pokey’s Pinball Cafe offers a full-place buyout.
Prairie Sun The upstairs Mezzanine suits parties of up to 25 people.
Rock Creek Woodsmoke Grill Both locations have private dining: Stonebridge holds 20-30+ people and you can invite up to 50 at the University Heights location. No charge to rent
Sardinia Reserve the event room for no additional charge for your group up to 60 people.
Scarlet at the Sheraton Book your private dining experience with Scarlet and enjoy the beautiful Hampton room which holds about 20-25 people. There is an extra charge for this room.
Smiley’s Buffet Banquet A can accommodate up to 70 guests. It comes with Microphone, HD Data Projection and a 14 foot screen. Bar service can also be arranged. Banquet B can accommodate up to 110 guests. It has a dance floor, Microphones, Full HD data projector with 16 foot screen. Plus, a fully licensed bar comes with rental of this room. Banquet B is great for wedding receptions, Christmas parties, and family celebrations of all types. Banquet Rooms "A" and "B" can also be opened into one large room to host events with a maximum capacity of up to 200 guests!
Smitty’s 30-40 people can be accommodated in the private buffet area at the Market Mall location.
Thirsty Scholar There are two private rooms available, one that suits 12 people and one that can hold 50+. Inquire about their “Hy Level” room upstairs. With a separate entrance, private bathrooms, a private bar/bartender, and a stage with an independent audiovisual system, it might just be the place for your next event.
Una Pizza + Wine has an event space for up to 25 guests for a $300 minimum spend.
Venice House No fee, just eat and enjoy! There are two private rooms available, one that suits 12 people and one that can hold 50+. Inquire about their “Hy Level” room upstairs.
