Important maternal mood study looking for participants
I’m out of the post-partum phase but will forever recall that as beautiful as those newborn days were, THEY WERE CHALLENGING. I’m a relaxed person normally but there were times I felt overwhelmed to the point of crying alongside my baby. If you know you know. So I’m hoping for an excellent response to a new study out of the University of Saskatchewan, aiming to better support maternal mental health… by collecting evidence that support is necessary.
If you’re a Canadian mother who’s either currently pregnant or up to 12 months post-partum, I’d like to encourage you to participate in the study by completing a maternal mood survey. CLICK HERE TO DO THE SURVEY.
The survey takes under half an hour to complete and upon completion, you’ll be entered to win one of five $50 Amazon Gift cards.
Please forward this onto anyone you know who’s eligible to participate. Unfortunately, it’s easy to chalk moods up to pregnancy and post-partum hormones and consider it normal. But not only are hormonal moods important to address, there’s so many added stresses that mental health issues that get missed. Thanks to Alana Glecia (Demkiw) at the U of S College of Nursing for asking me to spread the word.
Maternal mental health matters!
